How Quickly Will An Alert Arrive?

The service checks for official messages about every five minutes when operating. Processing, delivery limits, outages and email filtering can delay or prevent an email. Do not rely on it for time-critical emergency warnings.

What Does A Follow-Up Mean?

A follow-up is optional home-service information, not an all-clear. Eligible events are checked again at least 24 hours after the latest message expiry and any later known event end. Active hazards, unresolved updates or an unavailable feed postpone it. Some events will receive no follow-up.

Can I Change My Location Or Stop Emails?

Yes. Use the private preferences link in any email to change your town, turn off follow-ups or unsubscribe. No account or password is needed. An email already sent to the delivery provider may still arrive.

Does This Request A Contractor?

No. Signup does not share your email with providers or book work. A project request is a separate choice, and does not guarantee a reply, contractor match or appointment.
